Cacopsylla pyricola and associated Phytoplasma

The goal of the study is transcriptomic sequencing of the pear psylla, Cacopsylla pyricola, that were either infected or not infected with the phytoplasma, Candidatus Phytoplasma pyri. The purpose was to assess effects of the phytoplasma on gene expression of the insect vector pear psylla, and further explore phytoplasma gene expression in the host insect.
