The 3T3-L1 pre-adipocyte cell line has been widely used in research to study the molecular processes underpinning adipocyte development and function. These cells are derived from mouse embryos and can develop into adult adipocytes when stimulated with insulin, dexamethasone, IBMX, and rosiglitazone. 3T3-L1 cells were differentiated into adipocytes using the above mentioned cocktail, and the NovaSeq6000 platform was used to sequence RNA from 3T3-L1 cells before and after differentiation (D0 and D7).
