Digital Archive from an Archaeological Trial Trench Evaluation at West Ruislip Golf Course (Areas D, F, and G), Hillingdon, Greater London, 2022-2025 (HS2 Phase One)

This collection comprises the digital records and files created during a trial trench evaluation at West Ruislip Golf Course (Areas D, F, and G), including data from the subsequent post-excavation assessment and analysis. Work was carried out by MOLA Headland Infrastructure between June and August 2022 as part of the High Speed Two (HS2) railway infrastructure project. The evaluation revealed limited but significant evidence, primarily focused within Trench D8 of Area D. Prehistoric activity is suggested by a small, residual assemblage of Late Bronze Age to Iron Age struck flint, supplementing existing evidence from earlier evaluations. Other features, such as a pit in Area G, were identified but could only be broadly dated as Roman or later, offering low archaeological potential.
