Eight-week-old male C57BL/6J mice acclimated for 2 weeks. 16 mice received a broad-spectrum antibiotic for 3 days, followed by an 11-day recovery, repeated twice over 30 days. We collected baseline (0 days) and post-treatment faecal samples to compare the gut microbiome and resistome (ARG). The 16 mice were divided into two groups: a spontaneous treatment group (with phosphate-buffered saline) and an F. prausnitzii treatment group (with F. prausnitzii DSM17677). Daily rapid gavage was administered. After 15 days, faecal samples were collected for DNA extraction and metagenomic sequencing.
