Dispersers (10) and disperser plate segments (52， ...) configured to be mounted in dispersers (10)， wherein the disperser plate segments (52， ...) comprise rows (42) of teeth (26， 28) and wherein bridges (56， ...) span gaps (24) between adjacent teeth (26， 28) in at least one of the rows (42) of teeth (26， 28)， wherein the bridges (56， ...) are separated from a substrate (45) of the front face by an open space in the gap (24). In other exemplary embodiments， a buttress extends from at least one face of the tooth to support the tooth.
