Digital Archive from a Watching Brief at 7 Wendover Drive, Welwyn, Hertfordshire, July to August 2021

This collection consists of images, a vector graphic and a report from a watching brief by Albion Archaeology. The work occurred at 7 Wendover Drive, Welyn, Hertfordshire, between July and August 2021.The investigation revealed evidence of Roman activity. Five extensive quarry pits and a smaller pit were partially revealed within the foundation trenches. They contained a small amount of Roman roof tile and metal-working slag fragments.
