X-ray properties of extreme UV-Fe II emitters

We propose to examine the Xray spectral and simultaneous Optical Monitorcharacteristics of a sample of very strong UVFe II emitters selected from theSloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). Strong optical Fe II emitters are known to theXray community as narrowline Seyfert 1 galaxies (NLS1) and they exhibit veryextreme Xray properties. Our sample of strong UVFe II has not beensignificantly detected in the RASS leading to the possibility that their Xrayspectra are not typical of NLS1.
