资源简介:
Dataset comprising of morphological features of Poa annua specimens from different populations, that were grown in common garden type of experiment in four different simulations (2 soil types and 2 climate types in a cross-design)Data was prepared and used for publication "Are certain populations of invasive Poa annua better suited to invading Antarctica? A common garden comparison of populations from four continents" by Rudak A, Galera H and Wódkiewicz M. 2025.Table "All measurments common garden" is main raw data file that includes all measuments that were done as a part of the experiment. Plants were grown for 4 months in four different variantsVariants:Ident_pop - There are nine different populations (8 populations from seeds collected in 2015 and one population from Antarctica from seeds collected in 2010)Soil - there are two different soil types used: sA - Antarctic soil which is kind of a gravel, nutrient low soil, and sO - Optimal soil for the species - garden soil was used for thisClimate - there are two climate simulations cA - Antarctic climate and cO optimal climateMeasured traits:height - height of aboveground part of the plant (in cm)dry_above_biomass - weight of dried aboveground biomass (in g)biomass_allo - Is a biomass allocation ratio between dry aboveground and dried belowground biomass of the plantplant_arch - is a ratio of height of the plant to largest chord of ellipsoid being an approximation of plant's shape from above view - it was measured using photography analyzed in ImageJ software.shoots - number of all shoots of the plantflower_day - first day of observed flowering counting from germination
