MPV 2009-19 Analysis

This dataset contains administrative records aggregated to a district level of all states of India. Health Management Information System (HMIS) of India is publicly available data managed by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The analysis in this project is concerned with the Mission Parivar Vikas (MPV) program initiated in November 2016 and until 2019, 145 in seven high fertility states were planned to receive (i) increase access of a range of contraceptives (ii) monetary incentives for beneficiaries who adopt family planning methods, and (iii) information dissemination using mobile vans covering all blocks of a district.
