High dropping moisture (DM) in poultry production caused many disadvantageous effects to Poultry production and environmental protection. Then we selected 4 different intestinal segments for metagenomic analysis to dig for gut microbes that affect the extent of DM. Finally, transcriptome analysis of spleen and two different intestinal tissues was conducted to explore the differentially expressed genes affecting DM from the perspective of host genetics.
