Heart Patients' use and experience of rehabilitation, 2010

This study is a nationwide survey of how patients who suffered from ischaemic cardiovascular diseases perceived the ensuing rehabilitation programme. It is based on questionnaires completed by patients who were admitted to hospital with acute cardiovascular diseases in 2009. A similar study was conducted in 2008. The purposes of this study aims at examining: How many patients are offered rehabilitation and how many choose to participate in the rehabilitation programmes. Which socio-demographic factors influence if the patients are offered and/or participate in rehabilitation programmes. How satisfied the patients feel and which factors determines the level of satisfaction. The differences between rehabilitation in the Danish regions. Comparing the results of this study with the results of the study conducted in 2007/2008
