Dataset: The Association Between Employer Trust in Employees and Business Growth Intention Among Small and Medium Enterprise Owners in Kumasi, Ghana

This dataset contains survey data from 388 small and medium enterprise (SME) owner-managers in Kumasi, Ghana, collected through a cross-sectional survey using a nonprobability walk-through sampling approach across three commercial clusters. The study examines the association between employer trust in employees and business growth intention, considering six constructs: Trust in Employees, Past Experience, Attitude Toward Business Growth, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavioral Control, and Business Growth Intention. The dataset also includes respondents’ demographic and business-related characteristics. The data support research on employer trust, entrepreneurial decision-making, and business growth intentions among small business owners in Ghana.
