Dataset on the Use of Personal Protective Equipment against Occupational Biological Risks in Spanish Companies (CHAID Analysis)

This dataset contains anonymized data collected from workers in Spanish companies with occupational exposure to biological agents. The dataset includes sociodemographic variables, organizational and preventive factors, risk perception indicators, and information on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically biological protection gloves, safety goggles, and face masks. The data were obtained through a cross-sectional study and were analyzed using Chi-square Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID) methodology to identify decision trees and interaction patterns associated with the use of PPE against biological risks in occupational settings. The dataset allows the identification of profiles related to preventive behavior and compliance with biological protection measures in the workplace.
