This data set is the annual vegetation coverage data set of Mongolia from 2000 to 2020 calculated by pixel dichotomy model based on MOD13Q1product of MODIS. The data format is TIF and the spatial resolution is 250m. MOD13Q1 is generated every 16 days with a spatial resolution of 250m. MOD13Q1 product provides two main vegetation indexes, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and enhanced vegetation index (EVI). NDVI is selected for this data set and synthesized by maximum synthesis method. This data set can provide a reference for the long-term change trend of vegetation in Mongolia.
