Mental health in rural China: Comparisons across provinces and among subgroups of children and adolescents

The dataset is aggregated from 10 different school-level surveys that conducted in rural areas of five provinces of from 2008 to 2015, which covered 54498 students from grade 4 to grade 8 across 65 counties in rural China. The dataset includes information on student characteristics (gender, grade, academic performance) and family background (household asset) as well as mental health situation (general MHT scores, each subcategory scores of MHT, whether or not children have anxious risk in general anxiety, whether or not children have anxious risk in each subcategory).
