Neodothiora populina strain:CPC 39397 Genome sequencing and assembly

Neodothiora populina is a black yeast-like fungus in the family of Dothioraceae that causes a running canker in trembling aspen in Interior Alaska resulting in widespread mortality. Here we report a draft genome and transcriptome of this fungal pathogen.
