ALRIS Tile Index Boundaries

This data set consists of polygons representing the ALRIS Tile Index for the state of Arizona. Each tile covers a geographic area 30 minutes latitude by 30 minutes longitude and spans 16 USGS 7.5 minute quadrangles. Some tiles that fall along the state boundary may be comprised of fewer quads. The data layer serves as base information for use in GIS systems for a variety of planning and analysis purposes. Use of the data for engineering work is prohibited. The data layer was provided by the USGS. Access is granted to public agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and private individuals for non-commercial purpose.
