Data from: Effects of species mixture and fertilizer application on aphid population growth and pea shoot performance [Fertilization reduces aphid population growth but does not alter competitive exclusion between specialist and generalist species]

This dataset contains experimental data associated with the article "Fertilization reduces aphid population growth but does not alter competitive exclusion between specialist and generalist species" published in PLOS ONE. The dataset includes: - Aphid population counts for two species (Megoura crassicauda and Aphis craccivora) under monoculture and mixture conditions - Ant population counts during the observation period - Pea shoot (Pisum sativum) growth measurements and dry weight data - Damage assessment of pea shoots - Days until wilting of pea shoots under different treatments Experimental treatments included fertilizer application (with/without) and species composition (monoculture/mixture).
