COGNITIVE SEMANTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: MODERN APPROACHES TO NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING

This study examines the relationship between cognitive semantics and artificial intelligence in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). It discusses the contribution of cognitive semantic theories, including conceptual metaphor, frame semantics, and mental spaces, to semantic representation and contextual language understanding. The findings suggest that integrating cognitive semantic principles into AI systems can improve semantic interpretation, contextual reasoning, and the development of more human-centered language technologies.
