Usability Platform Test - MatheArena (Responses)

The integration of educational technology (EdTech) into diverse learning environments highlights the critical importance of usability testing to ensure effective user experiences. This study introduces the Usability Platform Test (UPT), a multidimensional framework designed to evaluate the usability of EdTech solutions, focusing on eight key dimensions: navigation, communication, design principles, content quality, technical performance, user satisfaction, motivational aspects, and learning progress. The UPT employs a 7-point Likert scale for quantitative assessment, complemented by open-ended questions to gather qualitative insights. The research utilized a single-case study approach to evaluate the MatheArena Junior app, involving 16 senior students from a university setting.
