Geology Data Act – GeolDG: Evidence data

The Geology Data Act (GeolDG) entered into force on 30 June 2020 and replaces the deposits Act, which was previously in force. The GeolDG creates basic conditions for geoscientific surveys and regulates the handling of geological data, such as the display of geological investigations, the transmission and preservation of collected geological data and the public provision of geological data. The aim of the GeolDG is to be able to identify and evaluate geo-hazards and to ensure a sustainable use of the geological subsurface. Further information: Detection data within the meaning of the Geology Data Act is data that classifies geological investigations personally, locally, temporally and generally in terms of content. The display data received by the Rhineland-Palatinate State Office for Geology and Mining are shown, classified according to the purpose of the investigation. Further information
