Cryopreserved human ovarian tissue after refreezing cycle

Research about repeated freezing and thawing of ovarian tissues, which may be applicable in some exceptional clinical cases, was rarely reported. Sometimes, partially thawed ovarian tissues should be refrozen for transplantation to patients the next time. There is no difference in average follicle densities, proportions of proliferation early preantral follicles, atretic follicle rates, or ultrastructural quality between the frozen-thawed and refrozen-rethawed groups, no matter grafted or not. But the molecular mechanism and further functional experiments also need to be explored.
