资源简介:
This repository contains behavioral data from a psycho-cognitive experiment which aimed to evaluate in adults the learning transfer from the motor domain in favor to the language domain. The protocol was divided into three parts: (1) a linguistic syntax pre-test, (2) a motor training and (3) a linguistic syntax post-test. Each subject completed the same parts 1 and 3 (with different random trials), while they were assigned to four different experimental groups for part 2. The motor training groups were: Simple Hand (SH), Complex Hand (CH), Simple Tool (ST) and Complex Tool (CT). The language trials consisted of a sentence encoding followed by an affirmation test. Each trial gave accuracy and reaction time. This language test evaluated the syntactic performance of participants with a variation of syntactic complexity: coordinated sentences (CC), subject relative clauses (SRC) and object relative clauses (ORC). The motor trials consisted of moving pegs on a pegboard according to instructions. Each trial gave accuracy and reaction time. This motor training evaluated the effect of the effector (Hand vs Tool) and the complexity of the action sequence (Simple vs Complex).
