Tool validation and psychometric test_Amharic Version of CIASS

Anticipated stigma is common among patients with chronic illnesses. It affects their delivery of healthcare for not addressing the psychological components. Therefore, a valid and reliable instrument to measure anticipated stigma related to chronic illness is most important to inform possible interventions. This study was aimed to translate the Chronic Illness Anticipated Stigma Scale (CIASS) into the Amharic language and evaluate its psychometric properties in Ethiopia.

慢性疾病患者中预期的耻辱感普遍存在。这种耻辱感影响他们对于心理健康成分的关注，从而影响其医疗保健的提供。因此，开发一种有效且可靠的测量与慢性疾病相关的预期耻辱感的工具对于制定可能的干预措施至关重要。本研究旨在将慢性疾病预期耻辱量表（CIASS）翻译成阿姆哈拉语，并评估其在埃塞俄比亚的心理测量学特性。
