Dataset from the analyses of crinoids preserved in the Berriasian and Valanginian (Lower Creatceous) strata of Algeria

This dataset contains raw data from the analyses published in the article entitled: “Crinoids from the Ouarsenis Massif (Algeria) fill the Lower Cretaceous (Berriasian and Valanginian) gap of northern Africa”, published in: Annales de Paléontologie (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.annpal.2022.102555). These data included photos of crinoids that were fixed on stubs using double-sided carbon adhesive tape and then metallised with a thin layerof gold. They were photographed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) of the Hitachi S-4700, which is housed at theInstitute of Geological Sciences, Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland).
