An study to analyze the effect of spent coffee grounds as functional feed additive for dairy sheep and its effect on rumen microbiota was performed. The study comprised four groups, a control group with a conventional diet, and three groups with spent coffee grounds included in the concentrate at three different doses (30g/kg, 50 g/kg and 100 g/kg of spent coffee grounds in the concentrate). Samples of rumen content were obtained at day 50 after inclusion of experimental diet and sequenced.
