This is an archive containing real data for testing methods of HTTomoLib and HTTomoLibGPU packages. Data description: i12_dataset1.npz - 180-degrees scan of a sandstone rock on I12 beamline. 50 sinogram slices were extracted from the middle of the full dataset (original dataset 119647.nxs). characteristics: Projection data dimensions [1801, 50, 2560] as [angles, detY, detX], flats [50, 50, 2560] and darks are [20, 50, 2560]. Data type is uint16. notes: The resolution of the sample is well-defined and the sample is fully within the field of view (FOV), which provides some freedom for experimentation using various methods. demo script: i12_dataset1_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip i12_dataset2.npz - 180-degrees scan of unknown sample on I12 beamline. 50 sinogram slices were extracted from the middle of the full dataset (original dataset 146344.nxs) with separate flats and darks recorded. characteristics: Data dimensions [2050, 2560] as [angles, detY, detX], flats and darks are [51, 50, 2560]. Data type is uint16. notes: The sample is larger than the field of view. VoCentering method to find the centre of rotation can be tested on this data. demo script: i12_dataset2_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip i12_dataset3.npz - 180-degrees scan of a sandstone rock on I12 beamline (same data as i12_dataset1 ). Two full projections extracted, the one at 0 degrees and another one at 180degrees. characteristics: projections, darks and flats are [2050, 2560] as [detY, detX]. Data type is uint16. notes: This data is to test the centering method based on phase cross-correlation. demo script: i12_dataset3_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip geant4_dataset1.npz - Geant4 simulated tomographic dataset (in 180 degrees). It includes 20 flats and 20 darks. characteristics: Data dimensions [360, 540, 640] as [angles, detY, detX], flats and darks are [20, 50, 2560]. Data type is uint16. notes: The data is perfectly centered and withing FOV. Reconstruction methods can be tested. demo script: geant4_dataset1_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip i13_dataset1.npz - 360-degrees scan of of unknown biological sample at I13 beamline. 10 sinogram slices were extracted from the middle of the full dataset (original dataset number is 179623.nxs). characteristics: Projection data dimensions [6001, 10, 2560] as [angles, detY, detX], flats [40, 10, 2560] and darks are [40, 10, 2560]. Data type is uint16. notes: This is 360 degrees scan than needs to be converted into the traditional 180degrees sinogram. The resulting data doubles the FoV, but at least twice as larger (detX size) as the original. demo script: i13_dataset1_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip i13_dataset2.npz - 180-degrees scan of of unknown biological sample at I13 beamline. 10 sinogram slices were extracted from the middle of the full dataset (original dataset number is 179468.nxs). characteristics: Projection data dimensions [2501, 10, 2560] as [angles, detY, detX], flats [40, 10, 2560] and darks are [40, 10, 2560]. Data type is uint16. notes: A well defined resolution for this biological sample. demo script: i13_dataset2_example.py in scripts_examples.zip reproduces images in images.zip
