This dataset enables reproduction of figures from Carr et al. (2025), "Eating habits and sociodemographic factors impact household dietary greenhouse gas emissions reduction in the UK". The file "GHG_per_food_per_household.csv" provides the data for Figures 1 to 3. The file "household_characteristics.csv" provides the data for Figure 4.Original greenhouse gas emissions data were sourced from Clark et al. (2022), PNAS 119 (33) e2120584119, https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2120584119. UK shopping product information was derived from Kantar’s Worldpanel Take Home dataset.Data aggregation specifics for this study include:Supermarket products aggregated into 27 distinct food groups.Selection restricted to households showing reduced dietary GHG emissions.Household characteristics are limited to the most recent data and were aggregated into broader categories to ensure adequate sample sizes for analysis.<br>
