Full-length transcriptome reconstruction reveals the genetic mechanisms of eyestalk displacement and its potential implications on the novel interspecific hybrid crab (Scylla serrata ♀×Scylla paramamosain ♂)

The transcriptomes of normal eyestalk (SPA), interspecific hybrid crabs with normal eyestalk (NH), and interspecific hybrid crabs with displaced eyestalk (DH), and the novel interspecific hybrid crab were reconstructed using SMRT sequencing data with non-hybrid correction methods and two-step collapsing strategy.
