This dataset contains time-series images of pitfall traps collected at 5-minute intervals over an 8-week period from eight trap locations in canola and neighboring fields at the Tamworth Agricultural Institute, NSW, Australia. The primary target species is the Rutherglen bug (Nysius vinitor), with the objective of detecting individuals and identifying their movement patterns using machine learning and image processing techniques
