Fine-root production, mortality, and standing stock from minirhizotron measurements, AmazonFACE site, Brazil

This data package contains fine-root length and diameter data measured from minirhizotron images collected at AmazonFACE plots in Manaus, Brazil, from November 2016 through December 2017. The attached zip file contains six Excel files with calculated values of root productivity, mortality, standing crop, and associated files necessary for converting length and diameter to biomass. Also included is a Word document "AmazonFACE_documentation" which has detailed descriptions of data collection methods and of each data file. This study is part of the baseline pretreatment research that has been conducted in two AmazonFACE (Free-Air CO2 Enrichment Research Program in the Amazon forest) pilot plots, 30 m in diameter and separated by approximately 90 meters.
