WES of novel murine lung adenocarcinoma cell lines

We established and characterized clinically applicable tobacco-associated transplantable murine lung adenocarcinoma cell lines, designated FVBW-17, established from a lung adenocarcinoma induced by the tobacco carcinogen, 4-(methylnitrosoamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone (NNK), in the FVB/N mouse strain. Whole exome sequencing of FVBW-17 cell lines was performed to evaluate mutational signatures and tumor mutational burden in these new lines. This is the only syngeneic model derived from a lung tumor induced by a tobacco carcinogen that is easily transplantable in FVB/N mice, grows reproducibly and metastasizes to multiple sites. This carcinogen induced syngeneic model fills a significant void in the field in which syngeneic lung adenocarcinoma models with PD-L1 expression and high TMB are lacking, providing a valuable resource for preclinical experimental studies
