This series consists of the set of agenda and minutes, with associated papers, for meetings of the State Heritage Register Committee of the Heritage Council of New South Wales. The subjects covered include: State Heritage Register nominations review; Nominations for Interim Heritage Orders (including Delegated Decisions); Conservation Management Plans; Section 170 Registers; notices of intention; state government heritage; interim heritage orders; environmental planning instruments and heritage studies.The State Heritage Register Committee was set up as delegate of the Heritage Council to assess items of State heritage significance for the Minister in accordance with the Heritage Act, 1977. The Committee advises the Heritage Council of NSW on matters relating to the effective management and promotion of NSW's heritage. This includes areas of: archaeology (historic and/or maritime), conservation of environmental heritage, local government, moveable heritage, natural heritage, planning, property, planning or environmental law, property economics, rural interests, Aboriginal heritage, architecture, the built environment, landscape heritage, the building, development and property industries, engineering, sustainability, NSW or Australian history and cultural landscapes.
