This project provides the genome assembly of Acomys russatus, common name golden spiny mouse, based on a sample provided by Noga Kronfeld-Schor (Tel Aviv University). The assembly is provided by the European Bioinformatics Institute and Wellcome Sanger Institute (https://www.sanger.ac.uk/science/data/vertebrate-genomes-sequencing) in association with the Vertebrate Genomes Project (http://vertebrategenomesproject.org); the principal investigators are David Thybert (EMBL-EBI) and Thomas Keane (EMBL-EBI, [e-mail]).
