This dataset contains FUV auroral data observed by DMSP F16 and F17 as they crossed the polar region during 12-21 UT in both hemispheres. The LBHS band observations in the Northern Hemisphere reveal a cyclone-shaped auroral structure near the magnetic pole—Space Hurricane.
