We report the RNA-Sequencing data for the livers of C57BL/6J mice fed ad libitum or were fasted for 16 hour. 10-week-old male C57BL/6J mice were purchased from the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Company (SLAC, Shanghai, China). Mice were fed ad libitum or fasted for 16 hour. Then, mice were sacrificed and livers were harvested for RNA extraction.
