Soil phosphorus and physicochemical properties of alpine meadows in the Sanjiangyuan (Three-River Source) Region

This dataset compiles soil phosphorus metrics and soil physicochemical properties from 0–10 cm topsoil samples collected during the growing seasons (July–August) of 2019–2021 in alpine meadows of the Sanjiangyuan (Three-River Source) Region on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. The table includes phosphorus-related variables together with key soil properties (e.g., moisture content, bulk density, and particle-size fractions), and is accompanied by site metadata such as geographic coordinates and elevation, as well as vegetation survey attributes (e.g., vegetation cover, dominant functional groups, proportion and height of edible forage). These data support analyses of soil P cycling and environmental controls across meadow degradation gradients.
