The level of post-transcriptional regulation has played an important role in life activities over the past decade. In this study, the expression profiles of RNAs were investigated in peak-lactating MG tissues using RNA-Seq, in two breeds of sheep with different milk production characteristics. The findings of this study may improve our understanding of the roles of mRNAs and non-coding RNAs in the development of the MG and lactation in sheep.
