The purposes of this mixed-method study were to investigate the perceptions of foreign EFL teachers towards the varieties of English and to explore the teachers’ teaching practices in pronunciation teaching. 12 foreign EFL teachers who were both native and non-native speakers of English teaching in Thailand were the participants of this study. The participants reflected positive perceptions towards varieties of English and were aware of the benefits of the varieties of English to students in getting accustomed to different uses and accents of people worldwide. In regards to teaching practices in pronunciation, the findings demonstrated that the participants were willing to blend English varieties in the classroom, and majority had already done so. Some suggested using standard English as a model for kids in the early years of learning and then introducing more kinds of English afterwards.
