we performed a comparative transcriptomic analysis to reveal the gene expression patterns of S. frugiperda across ten developmental stages, egg, 1-6 instars, pupae, female and male adults. A total of 56 gene families related to insect immunity were identified, with variable expression patterns of several genes at different developmental stages.
