This study investigates the influence of NOX2 deficiency, specifically in the p47phox and gp91phox knockout mice, on the composition of gut microbiota. The experiment included wild-type (WT) mice as a control group, and fecal samples were collected from live mice aged 7-8 weeks in a specific pathogen-free (SPF) environment. Through comprehensive analysis, we aim to elucidate the alterations in microbiota composition associated with NOX2 deficiency, shedding light on its impact in a controlled environment.
