Plastid-to-nucleus signal controls the gene expression of photosynthesis-associated nuclear genes. To elucidate the mechanism underlying in this signaling, EMS-mutagenized Arabidopsis transgenic plants harboring extra-copies of GUN1 were screened for altered response to plastid-translation inhibitor lincomycin. The aim of this project is to identify the causal genes for this phenotype.
