This dataset has the following structure: scripts: Contains the 7 steps to create an orchid bioregionalisation. They are divided into: 2.1-Data_collection.R 2.2-Data_selection.R 3-Community_matrix.R 4-Data_exploration.R 5-Building_regionalisation.R 5.1-evaluation_grain-size.R 6-Relationship.R 7-Drivers_bioregionalisation.R Raw-data: CHELSA: Contains the rasters used to evaluate the environmental variables in the determination of orchid realms. gbif: Contains a CSV file (0052485-241126133413365.csv) with orchid occurrence data downloaded from GBIF.org (GBIF.org, 2024). rainbio_database-2: Contains a CSV file (RAINBIO.csv) with orchid occurrence data downloaded from the RAINBIO database (Dauby et al., 2016). records-ALA-2025-04-29: Contains a CSV file (records-2025-04-29.csv) with orchid occurrence data downloaded from the Atlas of Living Australia database (ALA, 2025). speciesLink: Contains a TXT file (speciesLink-20250429025336-0006433.txt) with orchid occurrence data downloaded from the SpeciesLink database (SpeciesLink network, 2025). Processed-data: Divided into folders, and in each of them are the processed/intermediate data used in each of the steps to build the orchid bioregionalisation. dataselection_spatial-errors dataselection_taxonomic-standard data_exploration community_matrix building_regionalisation drivers_bioregionalisation results: Figures: Contains all the figures extracted from the analyses. SIG: Contains documents in .gpkg format of the regionalisations at 100 x 100 km, 200 x 200 km, 400 x 400 km, and 800 x 800 km. It also contains the regionalisation at 200 x 200 km where realms and bioregions are obtained. table: Contains all the tables that were extracted from the analyses.
