资源简介:
Driven pipe piles were cyclically loaded in the axial direction to study the effect on capacity. This was performed by first driving the piles, waiting a certain amount of time for the gain capacity, loading the pile cyclically, then performing a tensile load test to determine the tensile capacity. It was found that high-frequency compressive loading with the mobile shaker did not have a negative impact on the capacity of the piles after 150,000 cycles. The low-frequency tensile loading using a hydraulic jack had a increased the capacity after 10,000 cycles. The site investigation data at the Hornsby Bend site can be reused for developing a soil profile. The virgin pile load test results can be added to a load test database for developing predictions of tensile capacity of piles in sand. The results of the pile load tests after cyclic loading can be used in future studies involving cyclically loaded piles.
