During ADEON Cruise EN626 we conducted fine-scale (roughly 8 km by 8 km) multi-frequency acoustic surveys at each site. We were able to complete the lander turnarounds at all seven locations successfully, but poor weather for a large portion of the trip prevented us from completing all scheduled sampling at all sites.Cruise specific data collection alerts
Because of rough sea
states, we were unable to complete FSAS surveys at the VAC, HAT, and CHB
sites. We were able to complete a 2nd
FSAS at the JAX site, the 2nd survey was the same grid as the first one, but at
a different time.
