OpenBrush Religious Art is a curated subset of OpenBrush-75K focusing on religious art paintings, containing 6,119 images. These images cover religious narrative paintings from medieval through early modern periods, with a heavy emphasis on Renaissance and Baroque eras. Common subjects include Madonna and child, crucifixion scenes, saints, biblical narrative, and Old Testament scenes. The dataset provides detailed annotations, including full structured captions and multiple aspect-specific description fields (e.g., subject, action, setting, mood, style, lighting, color, composition). The purpose of this subset is to offer a smaller, more focused collection so users dont need to download the full 75,313 images. All images, captions, and metadata are identical to those in the parent dataset OpenBrush-75K v1.1, with no recaptioning or modification.
