Saccharomyces interspecific hybrids isolated from wild environments. null

In our research, we conducted genomic sequencing of two interspecific hybrids of Saccharomyces (S. cerevisiae x S. paradoxus), which were isolated from natural habitats. The primary objective of this study was to investigate the extent and impact of genetic introgression occurring in these species within wild ecosystems. These strains were sequenced at the Earlham genomics facilities (www.earlham.ac.uk).
