Methylosinus trichosporium OB3b-augmented methanotroph enrichments from rice paddy soils

Methanotroph enrichments were prepared from rice paddy soils with 20% v/v methane (in air). Before incubation, the cultures were augmented with varying amounts of pre-incubated M. trichosporium OB3b cultures. The number following mtri indicate the fold difference between the indigenous gammaproteobacterial methanotroph population and amended M. trichosporium OB3b population. The sequence data are the 16S rRNA amplicon sequences of the enrichments.
