DIDACTIC POSSIBILITIES OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN PRIMARY GRADES BASED ON INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION

This article examines the didactic possibilities of improving the quality of education in primary school through interdisciplinary integration from both theoretical and practical perspectives. In modern educational practice, interdisciplinary integration plays a significant role in forming students’ holistic understanding of knowledge, developing logical thinking, independent reasoning, and problem-solving skills. The article reveals the essence, goals, and objectives of integrated learning and analyzes ways to enhance the effectiveness of the educational process by establishing interdisciplinary connections among primary school subjects. Special attention is paid to the didactic potential of interdisciplinary integration, including content integration, coherence of teaching methods, the use of active and innovative pedagogical technologies, and the implementation of a competency-based approach. The study analyzes the impact of integrated lessons on students’ cognitive activity, motivation to learn, and overall learning outcomes. In addition, practical recommendations are provided for primary school teachers on the effective organization of interdisciplinary integration in classroom practice. The research findings demonstrate that interdisciplinary integration contributes to improving educational quality, developing key competencies in learners, and fostering meaningful and sustainable learning. The results of the study have important scientific and practical significance for enhancing the effectiveness of primary education and implementing modern pedagogical approaches in the teaching and learning process.
