According to a survey on the reasons why gamers chose to play fantasy sports in India,72 percent of the respondents stated that fun and excitement was their main motivation to play such games. About 30 percent of respondents stated that they played because of the opportunity these games provide to win money. Out of the various fantasy sports games available in the Indian market, fantasy cricket was the most popular.
